The Diamondbacks faced the Braves on Tuesday in Atlanta as they looked to improve their record that has hung around the .500 mark for sometime. The Team, however, was unable to do so as their pitching suffered early in the contest. Offensively, the team had no pop either while failing to adjust to a good pitching performance by the Braves’ Hudson. Arizona ended up losing the game 8-1 due to these circumstances.
The Diamondbacks played the Mariners on Wednesday in the desert as Arizona looked to improve their record closer towards the .500 mark. The game quickly turned into a homerun derby with eight homer hits between the two teams. In the end, the Diamondbacks hit six of those dingers and went on to win the game 14-10 against the Mariners.
