When thinking about Arizona, most people think of a dry climate, cowboys, and cactus. I know I do, anyway. One of the last things people might consider about the state is the wide range of professional sports teams the state is home to, take for example, the following professional Arizona teams:

Arizona Cardinals (NFL) - Tempe    

Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB) - Phoenix    

Arizona Rattlers (AFL) - Phoenix    

Phoenix Coyotes (NHL) - Phoenix    

Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) - Phoenix    

Phoenix Suns (NBA) - Phoenix

Lets hope that this next year all of these teams will do so well in the professional arena that instead of deserts, ponies, and ranchers - everyday US citizens will think of the great state of Arizona when they are daydreaming about football, baseball, and basketball. Who is with me?

Now, if only we could do something about that pesky America West Arena in Phoenix before all the good games start.
